How to Write a Google Business Profile Description That Converts

A small field most remodelers write on autopilot.

The GBP business description is a small field, but it's one of the few places you get to speak directly to a homeowner already looking at your profile. A generic "we do quality remodeling work" wastes the space; a specific description naming your service area, your specialty, and what makes you different reads as more credible and helps with relevance for the searches you want to rank for.

A simple structure that works: what you do, who you do it for, where you do it, and one differentiator - kept to two or three sentences. "We build kitchen and bathroom remodels for homeowners across [metro], known for fast, clear communication and a 90-day guarantee" does more work than a vague mission statement.
